Do you know within you that you need to do something but finding it hard to do? It could be anything that you know is right, or the Lord specifically wants you to do. It could even be a fight of faith perhaps you feel like putting your hands up as fights can sometimes be challenging in the flesh. We must remember that the bible says “fight the good fight of faith”, Faith is the victory, and we already have the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Apart from pleasing God, somebodies breakthrough depends on what you do now. Someone out there is relying on you to win and help them out when they need help. Life is short and so are battles. They come and go, but those that stand their ground and remain strong in the Lord, not only win, but have a sure reward from the Lord. But its hard? Ask for the Lord to help you. The bible says that Jesus Christ our Lord was tempted in all points, yet without sin. Jesus Christ is our example:
Luke 22: 41- 44 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. When it came for our Lord Jesus Christ to go the cross it was not easy. Our Lord Jesus Christ prayed and decided to summit Himself to Gods will. It sometimes is not easy, but thank God that our Lord Jesus Christ paid the price for me and you. What would have been the alternative? Sometimes we might need extra strength from the Lord, but whatever we need to do, or whatever is required can be done with the Lords help. Sometimes we struggle, and things might be difficult, but once the price has been paid, the joy and eternal rewards cannot be comprehended. The honest truth is that not paying the price to do what needs to be done most times will turn out to be more costly. This truth can be applied to various areas in our lives. Perhaps you need to lose weight and not taking it serious enough, do you want to wait for ill health before you act? Or maybe the Lord is calling you to a certain work? Being in the centre of Gods will is the best and safest place to be. Maybe you are struggling with symptoms, and you are standing on Gods Word. Isn’t it better to believe God for your health, and fulfil your God ordained destiny in Him? Say to yourself, the alternative is not an option. Once you purpose in your heart to do the right thing, the Lord will grace and help you. He is our helper, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Keep reminding yourself that the alternative is not an option. What needs to be done, can and will be done by the grace of God. Bisi Oladipupo

Yes, great words... today I finally realized what God has been trying to get me to hear and I stepped up to the plate and have begun what He asked of me. I also realized that sometimes we need to volunteer for certain things and in regard to that, I volunteered to speak at an event for several hundred women in the community. I know God has given me a message in my story and well, the only way sometimes is just jump out of the boat...I didn't sink!

Bisi, that's a great word. Sometimes, God allows us to endure some pretty trying times. He wants us to endure hardness as a good soldier. Oftentimes, what's at stake is bigger than us.

I just heard a sermon on David & Goliath recently that talked about fighting from a position of advantage and not from fear. He pointed out that all of the Israelites had the right to claim victory based on their position as children of God. The looked at Goliath and cowered in fear. Only David saw it as an opportunity for God to come through. How often do we act like the fearful Israelites instead of the confidant warrior? thanks for your post!
