![]() Our God has not changed and He is still jealous over us. Why? This is because He loves us so much He wants us to Himself alone, (Exodus 34;14, 1 Corinthians 10;22). It’s actually a beautiful place to be, fully and totally committed to the Lord. The old testament has several warnings about idols; ( Leviticus 19;4, 26;1), and while some parts of the world still have golden images and symbols that physically represent idols , the reality is that idols still exit everywhere.

![]() When you are faced with a decision to make, what criteria do you base your choices on? Many of us have heard about the young ruler in scripture, let’s have a closer look: Matthew 19: 16 – 23 16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, ![]() Many of us have read the book of Judges (Judges 16; 1 – 26) with the account of Samson, and thought “how can someone do that”? Well in reality it did happen. Reading this recently, l saw something different. Judges 16;4 says it all “And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah”. This verse clearly states that “he loved a woman”, however it is very clear from the account that Delilah did not love him. |
