 The foundations of our Christian Walk are essential. What we are taught as young believers in Christ can affect our mindsets and views about things and how we approach our Christian Walk.
If the foundation of our Christian walk is good motivational teachings and we are not exposed to the Word of God and prayer, after a while we may struggle when the trials of life come, especially if we do not have a good network system. When l say “network system” l mean a group of strong believers that can help and guide.

 In the natural if you had a baby that did not grow naturally you would be concerned.
As Christians, the Lord does expect us to grow up!. The Bible tells us to desire the sincere milk of the word that we may grow thereby (1 Peter 2: 2). In other words, the main factor of growth is to desire the sincere milk of the word. Note the word “word” not man’s doctrine or opinions of others but the word.
 It’s amazing how many spiritual truths we can learn from life.
I am sure many of us have heard the Lord teach us things from events during our daily activity. The centurion who was commended for his great faith learn't the principle of authority from his own job.  What is the difference between “refuge” and “habitation”?
A refuge is a place where a person goes temporarily for relief from something, in most cases relief from some sort of harm. A habitation is a permanent dwelling place.  The bible speaks about milk and strong meat. Let’s have a look at this scripture:
Hebrews 5; 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. |
