Will God not complete His Work?

Has the Lord just opened a door for you? Or do you perceive that Gods hand is on something that you need to step into?

Are you a parent? When you send your child to school, aren’t you aware that they will not only need pocket money for the first year of their studies but for the duration? If your son came to you and said well “ Daddy/ Mummy, thanks for allowing me to take up this admission, but will you pay all my school fees unto l finish and will you buy my school uniforms” how would you feel?

God is never caught unawares. Even from the foundation of the earth, He had prepared our salvation even before Adam sinned and fell. 1 Peter 1:

1 Peter 1: 18 – 20

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

In light of this any problem or challenge we may encounter is petty with God. Our God knows all the details and has already completed the work.

We walk by faith and not by sight. When the Lord parted the red sea for the Israelites to go through, do you think He was unaware that wild sea animals could hurt the children of Israel ?. If they stood and tried to figure everything out before they make a move, they would have never crossed that sea. Interestingly Psalm 74 gives us more detail as to what happened.

Psalm 74: 13

13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

New King James Version states it this way:

You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters.

What an awesome God we serve. God took care of those sea animals by breaking their heads so the children of Israel could go through safety. Everything required was already in place. They just had to obey and take the first step by stepping into the water.

Is the Lord telling you to do something? Is He moving you to another level? Do you perceive an open door from the Lord? You need to stop figuring it out in your head, what about this, what about that, Do you think our loving God is unaware? As a matter of fact, He knows much more that you can figure out in your head. What you need to do, is trust the Lord and take the first step. As you do so by faith you will walk into the completed work of the Lord.

Just as Abraham did not know where he was going and God blessed him just as the children of Israel crossed the red sea unharmed by all the wild sea animals, So must we walk by faith.

If God said it, He has already completed the work. Just step out in faith, and see the faithfulness of God. Will God not complete His work? He is too faithful not too.

Rejoice and step out!

Ah, the "open door" opportunities we so often miss. I picture God opening a door of opportunity first, then entering the room of our minds & coming around behind us and with a still & quiet voice...encouraging us to take the steps necessary to walk through the open doorway. If we listen to His voice, and as you said, TRUST Him...the rest is fulfilled in our destiny. THANKS Florence.

Amen! Thank you! I really needed this :) What also stuck out to me was the question of: "do you perceive an open door from the Lord". He will surely guide us. And I love how you said that He is aware of all these things that we will face and go through, it's not a mystery to Him. Amen! Thanks I needed this ;-)
God bless you! xx

Walk by faith. A recurring message today from all corners of the earth! I get it! He has taken care of anything that will harm us or hinder us from reaching our potential! We walk on by faith and with the word of our testimony and the Blood of the Lamb into the place of victory He intends for us to stand!

Nice post. We need to be put in remembrance about God's faithfulness. He always makes provisions to sustain and effectively complete whatever it is that He starts or ordains.

This reminds me of Philippians 1:6... He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it!. Thanks for encouraging us to truly be walking by faith!

Awesome and timely word! It also reminds me that God does not call the equipped, but He equips the called.

I love the comparison you make in the be
ginning. It is true that way say with our mouths that God is the good father but do we truly understand that in our hearts?
You really gave me a lot to think about!
