Do You Need to Prepare an Ark ?

Many of us are familiar with the account of Noah in the bible. God told him to prepare an ark before the world was destroyed with water.
Let’s look at the brief account in the book of Hebrews:

Hebrews 11; 7
 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

If you look at the above, Noah prepared an ark to “ the saving of  his house”.

Suppose Noah did not obey the Lord what would have happened? Not only him, but his whole house hold would have perished in the flood. This is a great lesson and it also shows the impact our actions can have on our families.

Is there anything that the Lord is asking you to do, that will save your family in the future? 

Are you being lead to make some investments to save your family in years to come?

Is the Lord asking you to prepare of ark of prayer and intercession for your family? It has been said that many grandparents prayed in advance and saved their families.

The instructions given to Noah and how to make the ark was very specific (Genesis 6; 11 – 16)  to save his house. Has the Lord been laying anything on your heart?

If  the answer is yes, then it’s time to start building to save your house in whatever manner this applies to you.

The Lord is gracious and He is always ready to save us and  warn from unnecessary hardship; If we will only listen and obey.
