Does the Lord speak to us through His creation? Yes He does, all you need to do is look at the scriptures. There are so many illustrations with various parts of creation. Let’s now look at the grass.
Psalms 37; 1-2 see also Isaiah 51; 12-13 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Isaiah 40; 8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
1 Peter 1, 24- 25, see also Isaiah 40; 6- 7, Psalms 103; 14-15, James 1; 10-11 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. This is also why David prayed in the Psalms “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Psalms 90; 12). These verses also show us again the power of the Word. God’s Word stands forever, even in eternity. (See Isaiah 40;8).
4 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; 15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. So next time you look through your window and see grass, or you walk in the field or park, as you look at the grass, remember the corresponding spiritual realities that can be picked up from grass. Thanks, Bisi. Jesus was the Master Teacher. He was anointed to preach the gospel to the poor. In His parables, He often used nature and creation to expound on heavenly things.

Interesting how God uses even the everyday things of life to speak to us. I've not thought of grass in terms of the Bible before--up until now, that is. :-) He's faithful.

WELL SAID! "Nature" seems inanimate, while God and His GLORY displayed around about us is alive and active.

How can any sensible human being look at nature and still wonder if there is a God? Better yet, how can some even deny Him? Creation testifies of a Designer, an Engineer. Of, One who is capable of creating what no human ever could. "Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)
