It’s just light!

​Have you been feeling lately that you need to make some changes and adjustments? Have you been wondering “but what happened?”, how come l am feeling this way?

Ephesians 5: 13 reads
“ But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light”.
 
Light exposes things that we previously are not aware of. The same applies in the natural. If you were in a dark room and suddenly someone switched on the light, you would begin to see things that you previously did not see.

Every Christian should be increasing in light. The light will begin to expose things that we need to deal with. This is why we are not in a position to judge others because we do not know what light they have. We can only walk in the measure of the light that we have.

Have you ever looked back and thought to yourself; l have no idea how l did that then but now l know better?.

We actually need to rejoice when we realise that some changes need to be made as it shows that we are growing. Its light that exposes things that we are not aware of.So there is no need to feel bad about it, just make the necessary changes and rejoice that you are now seeing clearer.

The scriptures says that “ But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4: 18).

As we begin to have more light, there will be more demands to make adjustments  and changes which is only for our good.

We must remember that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1: 5).  Therefore the more light we have which will help us see the changes we need to make, the more we are becoming like Him.

So let’s rejoice that we are making progress in our walk with the Lord as that is the role of light!.
