The Value of Genuine Relationships!

Relationships are very important and the Lord moves through relationships. This is one reason amongst others why we need to honour one another and treat others well.

There is nothing wrong in preaching to multitudes at a time depending on the sphere of influence the Lord had given to each one of us. However we much value those that the Lord has placed around us.

Jesus preached to multitudes at a time however, when He died for us only one disciple and a few women stayed at the cross (John 19; 25- 27) . Where were all the multitudes that the Lord fed in the wilderness? Where were all those that had received one miracle or another?

While we do not know why the other disciples did not stay at the cross, we know that they did love the Lord however for some reason they were not at the cross.

One thing is evident at the time of difficulty not many people will be there. This is why we need to be discerning and take care and invest in genuine relationships.  Do you know who is who around you? If so, are you making any effort to invest into those relationships?

Genuine relationships are important and we must discern who those people are.. The Lord is never caught unawares and He places people in our lives for a purpose. The wise cherish those people and invest in them.

He who has an ear, let him hear!
