Have you ever gone through a difficult time and wandered “what is going on?”. Does this sounds familiar? Let’s have a look at scripture; Psalm 105; 23-25 23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. 24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies. 25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants. Did you notice verse 25? It reads “He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants”. It was God that turned their heart to hate His people. The Israelites then had a hard time In Egypt, things changed for them in the land. This was a divine set up to get them out of Egypt to the Promised Land. The Lord had to make the place uncomfortable for them to get them out. Does that sound familiar? Suddenly where you are is no longer comfortable or no longer going to plan. Could it be a divine set up? Could it be that the Lord has a better place for you? Perhaps the Lord wants to get your attention that it’s time to move into the next chapter, the promised land that the Lord has for you. But someone said, this is old testament. 2 Timothy 3; 16 reads “ ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Romans 15; 14 reads “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. There is hope for you in that situation. Perhaps the Lord has a greater agenda? Remember that “all things work together for good, for those that love Him and for those that have been called according to His purpose (Romans 8; 28). Bisi Oladipupo

Good reminder to not take offense at what is going on in life, for it is all through the hand of God. & He is good!! Thank you for also reminding me that His desire is to deliver us from bondage even if it's difficult.

Thanks Jenn for the comment. While we cannot say that everything that comes through life is through the hand of God, as scripture is clear "The thief comes not but to kill, steal and destroy but l am come that they might have life and life more abundantly (John 10; 10)". The Lord is able to deliver us from it all!, Thanks for stopping by.

Nice post. One, it easy to forget that God often deals with us in ways that are bigger than we are. Two, it is so easy for us to become comfortable where we are. Sometimes, God is up to something.
