In the book of Exodus the Lord told Moses to instruct the children of Israel to kill a lamb and put the blood on the doorpost so the destroyer would not come in. It was to ensure that the firstborn of the children of Israel were protected, Exodus 12; 13 “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt”.

Relationships are very important and the Lord moves through relationships. This is one reason amongst others why we need to honour one another and treat others well. There is nothing wrong in preaching to multitudes at a time depending on the sphere of influence the Lord had given to each one of us. However we much value those that the Lord has placed around us.
God’s word has not changed, and His truth endures to all generations (Psalms 100; 5). Now let’s have a look at scripture: Romans 13; 3-5 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. |
